What are some important things to know for new players?
Hey everyone, new to BattleRoyale here. I tried asking for help in game on a solo server on what to know as a beginner, and promtly got told to ♥♥♥♥ off (understandably given the 'every man for himself' nature of the BR)

Just gonna list a few questions:

How do you bring up your exact position on the map?
Do certain locations spawn better loot, and if so which places are they?
How do I manage my skins? I rebinded my custom action corresponding to the skins menu, and tried using it in the waiting lobby but nothing happened.

If you could leave any other tips like DO's and DONT'S of the first few minutes of parachuting in, that would be appreciated too.

Also, I noticed solo servers arent as popular as team servers.Is it because there are a lot of cheaters (people illegally teaming)? Is this a common problem of people teaming together for unfair advantages? I wouldn't know since I've only played one BR match.

You don't unless you're on a team, in which case it brings it up on its own.
Military locations typically spawn more loot.
Bind the custom action. You probably binded the wrong one.
Don't team in solo, you'll get banned.
Order of best guns to use:
Crate weapons > 6.5mm weapons > 5.56 weapons > AKs

For finding your location bring up your gps with right ctrl+m
