I hope I have missed something obvious. Some of especially my train and metrolines use a lot of vehicles. But it seems the station that are set as depot, will try to unbunch my vehicles so they kind of get backed up at that stop/station.
Is there a way around this except for making a statiion that has not stops connected to the line, but are only used as a depot?
Have I just missed some setting that are right there, but I somehow ignore its existence?

I just checked again. It is not even at the station that is set as the depot. But every line will have a stop where it will do some unbunching. All my lines are run with unbunching unmarked. Even if I set the global value to 0, there is still a station that will do unbunching and by doing that, trains and metro cars will bunch up behind that station..

So instead of leaving when at 100% it will go to somewhere between 200 and 500 percent only on that stop.

I read up a little on the other discussions.. This might be about passenger pathing? It does seem to be at the stations where I have the most passengers waiting....
