French translation - Traduction française
Hello DontCryJustDie,

As soon as I fixed my own translation-display-bug I will help you with the french translation.

Just tell me what I need to know and how should I proceed.

It seems very logic that I just have to write the french translation next to the VALUE_VALUE and send it back to you. ("SETTINGS Paramètres")

Am I right ?


Questions already:

What about accents and special characthers ? ( é à è ù ç ... their are plenty of them )

Yes.

1. Create a copy of en.txt and rename it to fr.txt.
2. Replace the english locales with french ones.
3. Save with Unicode encoding.
4. Upload translated file to https://gist.github.com/

Hello @DontCryJustDie,

It seems like my bug is due to the "en.locale" not recieving the information about the new settings_settings provided by your mod.

I exported my en.locale with this tool ( https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/release-cities-skylines-localization-tool.844524/ )

When I open the exported txt file it looks like this :

msgid "Road Tool"
msgstr ""
#. "DECORATIONEDITOR_TOOL[Props]:0"
msgid "Propping Tool"

Butthis tool doesn't not allow to add entry, only modify an existing entry ( I tested and it works ) But I can't find any of the settings_settings of your mod :

LAST_WEEK Last week
AVERAGE Average
AVERAGE_TOOLTIP Average of the last {0} weeks.

Do you have any idea how I can add those entry to the en.locale file ?

Hi,
IPT's locales aren't supposed to be inside the games locale files.
You can find the locale files inside the IPT mod folder.

I decided to buy the game after a successfull test :steamhappy:

No display bug anymore so I'm working on the translation.

Can you tell me what exactly means :

STOP_PANEL_UPDATE_CLOSE_STOPS
It is the locale for the button on the stop info panel which sets the unbunching setting from the selected stop to close stops.
