Cities: Skylines

Manhattan New York
No subway trains in Manhattan
Hello!
I downloaded this save game the other day and I like the approach.
Having played this game for so many, many hours in the past, I know exactly how much effort has gone into it.
I appreciate the work you have done.
Thank you for this almost realistic looking city map.
Well done!

The map is full of residential, office and commercial buildings.
It comes with freight train lines, has inbound and outbound connections, and works well so far.
There is an out-of-town area that keeps all the unique buildings far away so that they do not block huge areas in between the normal Manhattan layout.
No industry though. All goods have to be brought in and out, no industrial goods are produced in this city. I assume this follows the real city. I don't know, I've never been there.

However, there are no people using public transport in this build. There are no bus lines, but there are subway stations and rails laid out in straight lines, some of which cross each other.
So they could easily block themselves. But they don't.
There are no trains. Some of the tracks are broken. This could be the case, as there seem to be no underground stations between them.
Many other lines are complete, and they also have stations in them, with literally hundreds of passengers waiting for trains that never come.
I can't actually get the game to make the subway trains come in and do their job, and I don't know why that is.
Also, the missing subway stations cannot be replaced, as the ones that come with the game do not fit into the existing railways.

Can I get some help with this, please?

NOTE:

I have been able to fix it.

What I did was to enable everything included with the Metro Overhaul Mod (MOM) https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=816260433

With this I was able to place METRO Depots which I then connected to the closest Metro line.
This way and by using suitable setting my passengers can easily travel entire Manhattan.
