Tracking down Extended Road Upgrade issue
Normal comments weren't working so hope you don't mind me posting here instead... Here's a list of my installed mods in case it's of any use tracking down the conflict between Crossings mod and the Extened Road Upgrade mod. It would be good if people could list what mods they are using too to see if there are any common trends amongst people who are having the mod conflict.

same here with Extened Road Upgrade mod. Buttons from Extened Road Upgrade mod are away after using this mod :-(

I have iffy toggle traffic lights button still but useable with crossings. have to go to bottom right corner to activate it but is fine without crossings loaded. have no idea how buttons work or are added to the UI, but just appears your button 'registers' (hit box?) bigger than it looks on the UI(if that makes sense).I have a hunch its differnet screen resolutions and the button placements(including mod order for placing to the ui) that are maybe overlapping in weird ways for some depending on those resolutions.

simple thing to try would be play with ingame resolutions and see if buttons become viewable.

i'm not convinced that screen resolutions are the issue, because custom Sapphire skins, such as Silicon, add/move buttons to ensure they fit in with skin design... if it were a screen resolutoin problem, the buttons would reappear when using Sapphire skins, but they don't. It's something more fundamental IMHO, possibly conflicting button IDs or something like that?

I started a new map with just Crossings and ERU enabled and only have the icon for Crossings is showing up. I was about to do a huge test with each mod separately to see which ones are conflicting but this just made that a lot shorter.

Just started up my save with all mods enabled. All icons are now showing up! Great work and thank you!

still same for me(not that its an issue). with just TTL mod i can highlight the icon from any direction / area of the button. with crossings and TTL can only use TTL button from bottom right corner of it. Happy using both mods loaded at same time as they stand, just feedback if it helps track the missing othermod buttons.

still the same i'm afraid. it's as if i have an invisible 'something' over the TTL button. been trying to compile your code to play about with it but will need to install VS to get the resource file to embed. i wanted to change the line you have commented out! :D

//tabstrip.width = 31; which was 80 iirc. can recompile with that set to 31 for me ?

Dang. Okay, pushed a new version with that line re-added with a value of 31. (I took it out because it seemed to be auotmatically figuring it out anyway). Of course, that line may not be the problem at all; it just looked like the best candidate.

If you want to tinker yourself, instead of VS, I'd suggest trying Xamarin studio. It's what I use (mostly because I really dislike VS), and so it's what the project file on Github is for.

awesome! works like a charm:) lets hope it clears up any remaining ERU issues people had too. will download thatone again and check if all 3 work on mine. Thanks for the mod and OCD in bug finding :)

Yeap. I have all 4 buttons from ERU,TTL and crossings up and working perfectly. fingers crossed button issues all fixed for everyone. btw your mod is awesome at cutting roads up to remove bits and pieces. And i will deff take a look at that IDE and see if i can bare learning C#. VS put me right off lol

Man, VS almost put me right off programming as a whole when I had to use it profesionally for a couple of years. It was only the fact that I could drop in vim as an editor that made it remotely bearable. And as for C#, well it's not perfect, but at least it's better than Java :)
