First, please make sure you are using the official workshop version of the map, downloaded from this workshop page. If you are using any edit or community version of the map, the grass may not work correctly if the mapper did not properly integrate the "detail props" for the grass.
Secondly, please ensure that Half-Life 2: Episode 2 is mounted. I did not intend for EP2 to be a requirement, but sometimes it seems people have issues without it.
Beyond that, do the usual check for any conflicting addons. If you can, uninstall all other addons, restart gmod, and reinstall the map. It is possible that another addon is conflicting with the "prop detail" configuration of the map. Please test in singleplayer. If it works in singleplayer but not in multiplayer, please contact the server administrator and troubleshoot with them.
This same steps apply if you are experiencing a lot of lag. Ensure you are using the official workshop version of the map, and uninstall other addons. On my computer with a fresh install of Gmod and just this map, I'm getting well over 300 FPS in all areas of the map.
Hope this helps some of you!
I'm having the same errors come up, no external addons just simply the map and the darkRP gamemode. I wasn't getting these errors before (last time I played on the map was a week ago) and now all tall grass is errors. I remounted EP2 but no results.
Negative, I have used that said map before but uninstalled it a while back. I don't think any files from it have lingered to affect other maps; otherwise I presume I'd get at least one lua error via console, which I haven't. Only the modeled errors persist. I ended up fixing this issue by just getting an error hide mod; which granted makes the map look bland but its a ton better than seeing a sea of error blimps. I'll attempt a clean reinstall of the mods and see what happens.
