Feature requests
Hey all.

Post here your requests so that they wont get missing in dozens of comments pages.
Requests can be of any kind:
- rebalancing in general
- rebalancing vs stuff introduce by other mods
- rehauls of damage effect types
- new items
- new features

NOTE: this is a thread for people to suggest and to inspire others to rebalance / improve the mod by using their reuploaded version of it. I >may< pick some interesting suggestions, but the chances of it are closing to zero (time, modding restrictions, stubborn personal views and etc.)

1 gun has very low fire rate. Theres long pause between shots. However it never reloads, presumably since it already shoots so slowly. Id rather that down time was a reload - that gives the player an indicator and informs them how much time theres left til the next shot.
R u gonna rebalance warheads? They r ♥♥♥♥. Increase dmg, plz. I dont know if that automatically changes the radius of explosion, but vanilla warhead is completely useless. It would be best, if it broke a lot of large heavy armor at once.
U keep saying u want some torpedo weapon - balance missiles for that. Large dmg, large range, theres use for your 14mm pds guns, as they r the only ones capable of shooting them down.

im sitll requestin turretss 360 degrees traverse. Look at Nelson and Izumo and how their 3rd turret rotates and sweeps superstructure with all 3 guns

So after doing some quick tests i would say that:

All the small grid vehicle turrets lack in utility, seeing as none of them can do a full 360 degrees, so making a MBT or IFV with them is rather pointless.

The 122mm needs a range boost, 600-700 meters is just too little for a gun of that size, and should not be outanged by lower mm guns and vanilla weaponry.

The 50mm i doubt would be very good at AA given its burst fire setup.

Can you add dual 14.5mm and 50mm casimate guns for small ships? They would hopefully maintain the same dimensions as usual in width and height, but be turrets that can autoaim

it would be interestig to see a 14.5 minigun for small ships, have it be 2x2 and stupid fire rate but bad accuracy, making it a good spray and pray system, also maybe explosive rounds for 50mm and other ammo types?

spray and pray isnt good for anything, but what can u do, when the game barely supports combat mechanics

true, but im referring to npc combat, say a rotor turret with them? or just for fun or "fire for effect" and a cool factor

yes - the ever-present drawback of "if u buff it, the enemies will have that buff too". Imagine the cool factor of actually dodging that.
if uve git the range of 1,5km, i think ull have some time to dodge regardless of accuracy

In other words - a rotating fixed weapon on the base of 14.5 mm CIWS for the small grid.
