How to beat Attila armies??
Thank you for the mode. I play the game several days now. Attila has obliterated me in italy. I lost major battles. I have problem facing his cataphracts units combined with his archers. Any ideas how I can deal with him. He has devasted Italy so far. I lost major cities. I still hold spain and parts of africa and some cities in italy that soon will fall. Also I play in Hard. PS did really attila had so many cataphract cavarly

What I've found works against Attila is large numbers of heavy spearmen, foot archers, and artillery, couple with choke points (forts or walls, etc). You're not going to win in a chase, and offensive fighting is a really bad idea because his cavalry advantage is high enough to cut you apart, but if he comes to you you can hold the line against their forces.
