how about one of these names;
S.H.E.I.L.A-I (Ship's High Elaborate Intelligent Local Artificial-intelligent) ( pronounce; she - la), Serina, (just a name i like to use if i make my own A.I) C.A.I.S.E (Case - see) Computerized Artificial Intelligent Ship Expertise.

Does it really need to mean something? i mean for the male voice one i would call him Omega or something. but for a Female A.I I would say Cortana, but She's aready in the Windows 8 Phones and in Halo and that would be copyright or something. I cant name a few other the one i said.

It doesn't have to be short for something. It's cool if it does but it's not necessary. How about Inora btw?

as in I-nora or as In- aura. I'don't judge i just let my opinion loose if you get what im saying. I also think Shadow (can be a male or female name) would be good, especially for a ship with Black, Midnight Blue, and certain grey colors (or gray if anyone else reading this is a Grammer Nazi, which i think mostly are kids). its up to you, but if you choose a name that other will ♥♥♥♥♥ about like a Hardcore Brony and Hardcore Gamer with their show or online account canceled or shutdown. (trust me its not pretty when the anoymous start up and they start hearding and hacking, etc, etc.)

Why not two names? One to be the technical name, such as the Ship.Interactive.Vocal.Assistant, or SIVA, but since it's an AI interacting with humans, taking a first name. So instead of being SIVA it calls itself Alice, using Siva as a last name.

I actually aggree with him, like if i had my own version of this, i would make it a male AI and call him Omega Sai or something like that.

Well someones also agrees, now all we need is a virus to put into mods like this and i ould dub it the Omega Virus (get the reference?) and it will make the AI turn on whoever owns the ship.

Going off of the Godfather's idea for an enemy AI that tries to kill us using Alice, how about a human designation and something self designated?


Say that this Virus was made by humans to kill humans, a Human Extermination Program. The Virus then turns on its creators and then calls itself an Organic Material Eradication Guidance Assistance, since its goal is not directly to kill, but to have other AIs kill.

well it was a idea i thought of since i saw a few MegamanX videos on youtube, as well as played Megaman Zero 3 and 4 on GBA, and a little bit of both ZX games on emulators.
on a Side note the name Omega is from my favorite boss from MMZ3 (Omega Zero)... and also i have him in my head and we try to beat the s**t out of each other in a turn based style fight (Epic Battle Fantasy 4 based off of). though he only has the voice, the rest of him is different. i think i might as well say he my personal A.I in my mind.

I may of read too many Fanfictions on https://www.fanfiction.net/ and may of played to much sci-fi and Garry's Mod RP servers on steam. anyway, my point is, you are almost correct on what he does, but he when the Omega Virus is done attacking a ship's Mainframe (Ex: Damage the Main Power sources [where most of the power comes from] or disable command centers[ disable the abilty for ship's owner to manually shutdown everything], "HE" will set all the internal Turrets to fire on the commander and anyone else in the ship. and if theirs a nuke or more on the ship, he would detonate them. luckly I didn't create the A.I. cause it will go wrong if i mess up on any part of the script. like a hacker trying to get into Either Runescape or WoW Member Server knowing that they could get banned from that site if they're caught. their always a chance of something bad happening.
