for use with this mod, I would recommend Ind. Evo the most, as it adds various industries (process, aerospace, financial etc.) to compliment the various lobbies, and Democratic Decay+axis of evil because their policies go well with fascism, and big brother dictatorship doubleplus good.
So far I’ve got some points I’d like to ask about…
Abusive police
Not sure about this situation in its current state. Not sure about the effect it has on tax evasion, I guess the idea is that since the police are arses, screw paying tax(?) Not sure. Also I’m not really sure how to combat it at this point. To tackle the massive crime it’s almost inevitable that it’ll be triggered, and I don’t see any way to combat it. Although I did notice it seemingly go down on it’s own a few times, so maybe there’s a hidden variable I don’t know about.
Political gridlock
This one is killer. It almost always spikes to 100% and is triggered after a couple of turns (glitch?), and is a pain to get rid of. Tbh though I have managed to beat it in a few games, but I’m not really sure what I did.
Lobbying and election laws
Is there hidden effects from these policies? At the moment the only visible effect of these is that pisses of capitalists, liberals, and the wealthy, while also reducing income for the wealthy. So far for all my games I spend the first turn outright cancelling them, since it doesn’t seem to help. If there’s no hidden effects then it definitely needs some tweaking. Even if there are hidden effects though, I still think it would be a good idea for it do please some portions of society visible on the policy (maybe Middle Class/Socialists?)
Oh and also this is hard as hell :L I haven’t yet ‘Beat’ a game, Almost survived two terms as England (The overhaul version) but only on 75% difficulty and with political capital disabled. But I’ll keep at it.
