The beard plus hat was suggested, but the demo only has one beard in the game and he really needed another.

Demolitionist's Dustcatcher and Fully Leaded were originally one item, but due to polycount limits we had to break the item into the two it is now.

4 item sets have gotten in the game before, ex: Hobo Heavy and Fat Engineer

They would have to combine the dust thing and the fully loaded

Which I already said can't be done due to poly limits.

Me need another beard for demo

Well if dustcatcher and fully loaded can't be combined, why not the bounty hunters brim and high plains bristles? Im sure just combining a hat and beard won't have much polycount.

It would, in-fact, have the same issue. The Brim and Beard, as well as the Dustcatcher and Fully Leaded, were both intended to be single items originally in development. They were designed that way so they could be worn with the tooth-kickers or other shirt items.

They were eventually separated due to poly limits, as well as the fact they would do much better on their own for maximum mix and match potential. Their separation lead to a few different designs for the beard, which we ultimately simplified to just the beard instead of tacking anything else on.

You'd be surprised how many polys a really small item can take up sometimes. Regardless, there are several 4 piece sets already in live TF2, so if you want to complain about 4 items and only 3 can be worn, petition valve to increase the importer poly limit or give us another cosmetic slot.

I'd pass on the Fully Leaded and use a set of the other cosmetics. Love the look of this set.

To many cosmetics but still great!

how is someone gonna wear 4 items when there are only 3 slots xD

edit: turn fully-loaded and dustcatcher into 1 item.

That's actually a pretty good idea. :demoticon:
Evidently nobody here seems to be able to read the reasons given by the devs for as to why there are 4 items. You should probably read through before you go "lel how iz we gunna wear 4 cosmetics? XDDD"
