It's possible for the game to lose track of what keys are held down during the transition to the load screen. This isn't really something I can fix, just try pressing the up and down buttons to get yourself unstuck.

If your computer hangs at the end of the loading screen and you keep pressing buttons, Windows assumes something is wrong and pops up the "program not responding" window. You can just close this window and everything runs just fine, but other than that there's nothing I can do to fix it. When the game hangs because the load screen is almost over, just stop pressing buttons. This exact same thing happens if you DON'T have this mod, and you press a bunch of buttons in the load screen.
