I wrote this in a comment but I believe its better for everyone to see and discuss if needed.

This set was designed with the following ideas in mind.

1. Maker her more like her original form. Dota 1 battle cape.

2. Make her "Not a belly dancer" but a true assassin. She is a female but a powerful one, not a cheap woman.

3. It shows that she is experienced! Hence where you see torns and worn out cape and sleeves, they give off the idea that she has been in countless battles.

4. Bring out her beauty which in this case is her complexion. The real secret is not the face but what lies within. and in case someone wants masks, there is countless of them already in game which you can choose.

As you can see it might look very attractive here because the background is grey, but in game it looks very very mundane, and it just looks like a single entity is walking around - not a one with multiple pieces. this new contrast makes her more appealing to look at rather than a purple ball of randomness.

A good set is defined not only from a close up but from in game. You should be able to see individual pieces even when its moving. if its too dark in case of TA it will meld with the rest of the body - you want t void that, because it will not pop out at all. Might as well nothing be there because either way it wont be seen. So the idea is for the set to garnish the eyes. Play with your emotions and give you a unique sensation. This is what you want. A feast for the eyes, you taste a bit here, a bit there. Like in a buffet.

The set also has improved in quality since the last picture, mainly because Source 2.0 has made the set even more radiant and beautiful in game.
