There also happens to be a big open space in the Matrix Hub. All of these ready for some entrepreneur to build.
However, I have been looking more at relatively easy implementations with lower chances for unwanted side effects. Puyallup Barrens is the home of Smash Jacker, a notoriously janky runner that if not approached just right will cause all sorts of problems. I am not sure tempting fate by making changes to that map is a.. safe.. idea.
PS: Just to give you an idea, the only way I've found to safely enter that map is by taking the burn up the lab option to Chet, travelling to Puyallup, and then speaking to Smash Jacker to get her story and then end the conversation. Smash Jacker will then appear in your runner menu and *hopefully* will behave from then on. I'm running a local build of the github stablish branch so unsure if this approach works with other versions. Best I can advise is save before entering that map.
Alphaware might just be available. Betaware will be limited in availability and require a quest (or more) to unlock the tier. Deltaware would require a quest per individual piece.

I do not see a problem with Smash Jacker in Puyallup; I am probably blind. I do not think the armor works the way people think it works.
In the past with this same installation of stablish from github, I've gotten the PC0 switch between my char and Smash while in Puyallup. I have also gotten the 'infinite' Smash Jacker team members in another playthrough, same version. I remember that on one playthrough I had tried to talk to Smash Jzcker early (prior to meeting Victor et al) and on another, got the garage there as safe house early; both of those had the problem(s).
On my current playthrough I will save before reaching that point and see if I can recreate the bug(s). Probably be in a day or two (damn cold/flu is interfering with my gaming!). If I manage to recreate the bug(s) I'll post over in the bugs thread.
PS: I've been under the impression that armor value (max 10) is subtracted from incoming damage, is that incorrect? (is Unlimited different than stock in that?)
The Crime Mall existed in the original Genesis version of the game and although the options to buy weapons and cyberware there were [understandably] limited, they provided some of the best equipment in the game as far as weapons go.
Limiting Betaware and Deltaware versions of cyberware to quests if they were to be implemented in this UGC in the future would only lead to frustrations and unnecessary grinding. The prices of the Betaware and Deltaware versions of cyberware are already arm-and-leg levels of expensive enough as I checked their prices when playing the Training Room and Testing Area UGC of the original Shadowrun Returns game so I don't think making them available as quest rewards is a good idea. I think it's better to make them readily available once your player's street reputation rank is either Elite or Legendary.
