A friend just taught me this and it worked, try it and see if it does for you, what happened with me personally is that the map would load halfway then put me back to the map selection screen after failing to load more

1. Put game settings to 2 Player
2. In that same panel, uncheck the "Peer to Peer" box and check "Local Server" then start the game
