Im thinking that it should be a reskin of the phligistinator.

Maybe it should just be a reskin of the Degreaser! Yes! That's what it should be! Same good stats, different look!

Maybe... Decreased airblast cost, at the exspense of less fire damage?
No airblast, right click and it shoots out a jet of water that can put out fire and push away foes( in a smaller area of effect then a normal air blast and if you hold it down will use up a water ammo that can be refilled with ammo or swimming in water)

That is a good idea. Maybe add in a second ammo for the water, and you use them individually. For a extra nerf, they are decreased from the base 200 ammo, because there are two tanks, one for fuel, one for water?

I have an idea

How about
+Right click for a missile to shoot out similar to the Rocket Launcher but can through walls and ignite enemies on fire (costs 50 ammo to use, base damage is 90 per hit)
- Cannot airblast
- Flame thrower part does 70% less damage
- No after burn from flames

I have an idea

+Right click instead of air blast it would be able to suck the missiles,
then you can shoot it out but it cost more ammo. But deals great damage

while the +Left click does less fire damage
my idea:

PRO:

Afterburn can increase as fire is concentrated on an enemy.
longer burn time and faster burn rate than the flame thrower.
you can't be set on fire


CONS:

no airblast
-75 health
Cannot inflict afterburn on enemy Pyros

stats:

ammo (carried): 200
damage per hit: 20 (contact), 6 on heavy and soldier.
9 on spy, engineer, demoman and medic.
15 on scout and sniper
5 on enemy pyro
afterburn damage: 2 (but it can increase when fire is concentrated on enemy)

good, but the -75 health is way too much. Maybe 25?

It should throws lava-fire, like an emancapating at the psiho-thing
It should throw water instead of air on right click and like see it on enemy spies
the classic pyro has 100 health, thats why i've put -75 health on it

It should be more like tfc, No airblast, a bit more damge, and range.

Actually, I've been playing around with this idea. the water can extinguish pyro flames, and can be used along with the neon-annialator for a twisted axtinusher combo. The water has extra range and goes in a straighter line.
