bump?
Caesarion 9. dec. 2018 kl. 7:21
You said the borders are different, how exactly are they different? If possible can you post screenshots somewhere?
And this is ironman-compatible right?
žed 9. dec. 2018 kl. 16:19
The internal borders (between vassals) are more akin to vanilla (lines instead of dots), and they are thinner lines than vanilla I think, but you can still easily distinguish sub-realms apart. Not really a significant difference, I just didn't like the dotted border.

And yes, ironman + achievements compatible.

Ah I see. Thanks a lot. You should message In Heavens and ask for permission to take over the mod if he's not interested.

I know its asking a lot, but could you please post a version with the dotted borders?

I edited the OP to include another version for ya. And regarding taking over the mod, I have no interest in that frankly. It would be so much better if In Heaven would just replace the 2 broken files with the ones I provided (it is just the 2 colormap files if you are reading this In Heaven).

The "Default" version still has transparent political maps. So both have it. Is there any chance that you can upload a version with no transparency?

Thanks

My bad I forgot to swap out a file. I reuploaded it so now the "default" version is what it says it is....

And there is one last undocumented difference:

Within both versions there is a file:

novus_graphicus_(version)/gfx/FX/pdxwater.lua

I think I took this file from some other mod that I forget. What it does is it makes the oceans a bit darker. If you want the water to be a bit brighter, simply delete this one file.

And FINALLY, there appears to be a bug where the map is black when you first launch the game. I don't know what causes that, and it goes away as soon as you continue past the front-end, so I say just ignore it. Sorry.

Thanks a lot mate

So after downloading file, where do I place it? (sorry for the dumb question, but I'm new to mods)
žed 14. apr. 2019 kl. 16:36
C:\Users\{your profile}\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod\*HERE*

Make sure there are two files there. #1 either a folder OR .zip, and #2 a .mod file.

Hey Zed, are you going to update the mod for the Iron Century patch? It does change the map a bit (Egypt, Spain, Portugal are the regions changed) so the current version of your fixed NG should be out-of-date too right?
žed 28. maj 2019 kl. 17:19
Well the only thing that needed fixing last time was the major rivers were misaligned. If they are just tweaking provinces, the current version should be A-Okay as far as I know.
Caesarion 28. maj 2019 kl. 19:38
They did make changes to the rivers. The Nile is navigable, and new rivers are added to Spain.

I see. Honestly I don't even use this mod anymore, I just play with HIP.

But I could fix it if the original author is still absent.
