yes I have trouble with this too. I have had the siege of Jeruselum with 10000 men inside and I attacked with 18000 and still lost. Why do they kill them so quickly?

it depends on the upgradeable units in your army. I have ten spartans and 59 english longbowman. I willget about four squads ofenglish longbowmen. and 4 squads of spartans. The stronger upgradeable units in your army the better. My question is how do i actually besiege a settlement? Get the rival faction more angry at me? I will try that now! Also you want to click the "equipment" tab in a settlement. If you get 100 of one equipment for lets say heave armor it will give yiur men and you more health and armor rating. Getting these are free, you simply click them to where the icon is a dark grey instead of a light grey! Hope this helped xWODERx!

How does one get more equipments?
DrunkenHalberd 14 Jun, 2015 @ 11:56am
when you enter a settlement there will be a equipment tab. Click that, then clickon the equipment slots. You will get more equipment over time. To know you will get more equipment the equipment slots will turn dark after you click it. Hope this has answered your question!

what does equipment do

They give bonus stats to your soldiers. Anyone know how to prevent historical limit?
DrunkenHalberd 14 Jun, 2015 @ 4:21pm
As far as we know the historical limit can't be removed. You can be clever and get around it, though. The onlyproblem is that you can only have one type of fully upgraded units if you do go around the limit, so it's useless to go around it.

And, to clarify, how does one initiate a siege? How do I create a war? How do I start attacking a city, in other words?

Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for helping me with the problem. MrTickles do you have your own kingdom or are you a vassal of another kingdom. If you are a vassal, do the following

1. Get a high place among the lords (Become friends)
2. Click Reports
3. Click National Conference
4. Click Declare War
5. Choose Faction

UPDATE--- Only the factions that you/they have been agressive too (attacking farmers, caravans, lords etc.) can be chosen in the "Declare War" section in the National Conference.

Thank you sooooo much! Very helpful! Mount and Blade's actually crashing after the intro video, so we're redownloading it.
