Suggestion: Enable spawning buildings from levels >1
Hey boformer &co.,

I don't need to tell you this mod is absolutely awesome. Thanks for the great work! Here's a suggestion that just came to mind: Would it be possible to allow buildings to spawn beginning with levels higher than one? I'm picturing a UI for the district info panel where you can just tick checkboxes "allowable spawn levels", going from "level 1" to "level 5". Is this technically possible?

Is it possible that you can use the cloning for this? I think the game mechanics require starting at level one then growing to level 5 based on meeting criteria. My problem is I dont want my neighborhood to dramatically change. Therefore a level 1 house in theory could be used for all levels done via the clone feature.

Yes, this is definitely possible, but not really feasible. If you have many assets in a theme, you'll need to clone them all by hand. That said, an automated method of creating level 1 clones for all buildings in a theme would probably do the trick. But it would definitely be cleaner if the spawning code itself could be altered.

I agree, I would much prefer that neighborhoods are set up as low income/low education through high income/high education. Then they dont change through time (unless you want them to stylistically). This way you would have to balance your neighborhoods based on your cities need for workers.
