Bug reports/Map suggestions thread!
Title self explanatory.


Planned changes:

(?) = maybe
[x] = implemented
[ ] = finished and awaiting implementation
[\] = scrapped

- Brighten the map even more [x]
- Add a marker around the buyzone boundary [x]
- Make it possible to enter the car before the entire phone conversation is complete [x]
- Level checkpoints [x]
- Fix some unintended boost spots in the parking lot of Stage 1 [x]
- Fix the secret being broken [x]
- Add a player speed boost on x10 difficulty (Need help with this one. Advice would be great!)
- Improve visibility in the first room of the nightclub [x]
- Fix players being unable to climb in to the nightclub vent [x]

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic! Only problem I had was a few NPC spawn errors.

In the first map, as soon as you enter the first room and kill the two guys, I had the guys one floor up spawn and rush me. Not a huge issue, but when I finally got up to that room it was empty with the exception of the sniper in the room.

Another thing that happened in the garage level was that in the long garage with the 3 rooms on the left (Sorry, I have no real way to describe it) all the NPCs spawned in one room and just sort of rushed me in a line. Not sure if that was on purpose but it sorta made that room useless.

Other than that, this was great, and keep up the good work!

For the first map, sometimes, the bots can run loose and start opening doors which triggers later on bots (in this case, the second floor dining room bots) to spawn. Though originally it was a glitch, I liked the feature and decided to keep it.

For the second map, my original intent was to spawn bots in each of the rooms and have some sniping on the "balcony," giving players the choice to try to push through the rooms or through the open area, but the bots would end up rushing and going far back in to the map, so I decided to just channel them all through the side rooms.

That's intended, so that people can get nades and armor and etc.

Suggestions!
  • Make the lighting pink (Maybe flow through pink, purple, green, red, blue, blah blah blah. Like in Hotline Miami)
  • Make it seem more like Miami.
  • Make it easier for singleplayer (Just tone it down a bit)
  • Remove extra ammo (Just the clip you/the enemies start with, no reloading)
  • Light it up a bit, half of this map is darkness and the other half is bright.
  • When you die, you should respawn at the beginning of the level. I was playing and I kept on respawning at the shop, it was kind of annoying to have to keep on listening to the phone and then go and play.
