You can play multiplayer with mods. move workshop files into

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Unturned\Servers\My server\Workshop\Content

Wrong, you can as long as the other person also have it, plus the workshop files has to be in your server folder.

How would this work for lan?

mods work in multiplayer. Your friends will auto download all the addons once they join. This mod however, doesnt work in multiplayer
