Yes, this is unfortunately a byproduct of the developer kit and making a mod. Currently i think every time the dev kit updates.. it reverts all the maps server settings to defaults and forces them to that value. The developer (premixedpie) has fixed this in a couple of the releases but upon an update of the mod.. tends to re-occur..

its not just this mod however.. it seems to be the majority of them. I dont have alot of experience or knowledge with the dev kit yet simple because i cannot seem to find the time.. but i know this is ROUGHLY the idea.

Its one of the most frequently asked questions on the ARK modding forums in terms of how to get rid of it or prevent it. ill try to see if i can find the resource i came accross at one point and post it here when i have the time..

Detox is right. Mods seem to mess with tribute, max player and rcon settings unintentionally.

RCON should be fixed, max player and tribute settings can sometimes be set by deleting them from the ini and running them from only the command line. I've heard they reset on a server update though, so need to delete them from the ini each restart.

I know this is an old post, but even if you had it enabled and upload a dino from your server with this mod running it looses all special colors. Then when you load it back in it'll go poof.
