Edit: The inside of the driver's seat also seems (at least through glass) seems to be subject to "fog of war" even when fog of war is off -- that is, it appears unoccupied unless there is a soldier looking directly inside.
- A tank got stuck on the unbreakable shack along the road, giving me unlimited time to farm MP at my leisure. (Why can't a tank roll over a smal wooden shed?) This invulnerable shed can be further exploited by sitting a single soldier behind it and throwing AT grenades as tanks pass by, allowing one soldier to single-handedly knock out several medium and heavy tanks. If tanks could roll over it, this wouldn't be nearly as easy.
- Later, during the counter-attack, the pile of tank wrecks along the road trapped a good half of all the enemy vehicles, at least for long enough they only attacked one at a time and were easy to knock down.
- Clearing the cliffs is way too easy. I manged to do with a standard 76mm German mortar. No infantry required, no tanks required, not a single death. The huge barn seems to block the enemy's line of sight required to target you with artillery, since none of the guns tried to fire back.
- The route to the cliffs is at the edge of the map. Meaning unless you send infantry in groups of 1-2, they will spread out and run into the minefield. VERY frustrating.
- On top of that, they also seem to be unable to use ladders in large groups, again requiring you to send them in small groups at a time. Annoying, but not kill-your-forces annoying like the above issue.
- All infantry are invisible on the mini-map, regardless of whether they are in combat or in the line-of-sight of your own troops. Didn't have this issue on the previous mission.
See post #7 of this thread.
Also, try to set shadows to medium, bump to high, water to low.
