Today we start this small development blog. Entries should be made weekly by a developer.
Later today the patch 1.2.12 should go live. It includes numerous fixes and adds new multiplayer unit purchases for Russia and Germany in accordance with the ambient/time-period of the mod.
Of course, it's tough to control all the incoming feedback of fixes. But each weeek we should release a new hotfix fixing more and more content. As we add more content, more issues arise. In addition there is a ton of uncontrolled errors and bugs which relate to the game itself, and not the mod. In fact, we have had to fix internal game bugs throughout our development for basic features to work, which wasn't fun...
Our main concerns were mission triggers, which some were addressed last week, but also the resupply mechanism. Some infantry trucks are not carrying the correct ammo load. This has also been adressed.
Next week we will be focusing on multiplayer maps.
Hello, players! Since I am working on very exciting projects along the entire course of the weeks, I have decided to reserved a bit of every Sunday to dedicate to WW2 Chronicles, that is, releasing the weekly patch and setting up a developer match (with an excellent host with international high quality connection). You are always welcome to test with us, join the WW2C group to be notified of patch releases and test matches. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/groups/ww2chronicles
This means that the weekly blog will be on Sunday evenings European time, or Sunday mid-days for my friends the Americans. Patch will be released a few hours later, for tersters, where the matches will be hosted. By Monday sunrise, the version will be stable thus having received some hotfixes where necessary. Steam workshop is vastly improvable, but we will manage.
So what's new in this week? Hmm. It's gonna get mushy mushy!
Patch 1.2.13 brings in the longest mission WW2C project has ever composed since 1.11 release. And have in mind, the mission for 1.11 was the entire mod, one mission.
"Operation Wintergewitter" arrives with co-op support and LOTS of russians to shoot. Fight in the blizzard trying to break the ring of Stalingrad, call in Air support, artillery bombardment and panzer columns to fight the entrenched russian army. From a stealthy start to the greatest action battle towards the end, you will surely enjoy this one. This is a small portion video of what's to come https://youtu.be/pO0Ye351CpQ
But that's not all...
This patch is multiplayer focused as well. 3 brand new maps have been brought to you to play online, for assault zones, combat, and flag. Pavlov's House, Mamayev Kurgan and Stalingrad docks. Let's get the competitive players in too!

And we're not finished.
Aside from these main highlights, there are countless fixes and additions that will be available in a list-view on the change-log in the change notes, when the patch is released. But perhaps the most notable addition within the crowd are the new Flak88 and LeFH18 3d models. Alongside the realistically-modelled LeFH18, you will see the LeFH18/M, which has a muzzle breaker and upgraded gun.

I invite you, once again, to look into the change-log when it's released - and join us in the test matches, which will take place on sunday evenings. See you in 2 hours!
Hello, players.
I am glad to inform you that we are approaching the final weeks of development of the mod. Out of the 4 missions that we had planned for post-release support, one was released last week, and another will follow next week. By the end of August they will all be released and the mod finalised, 3 missions for each faction. Equally, Multiplayer is being steadily developed and bugs hunted down.
This week there will be a very large patch. It comes with tons of fixes and new content. The new content comes in the form of new vehicles, new sounds, and new FX, mostly.
The patch 1.2.15 will be the key opening to a great multiplayer experience that will aim to surpass anything you've tried before. Happy hunting!
It looks like the mod has entered it's fixed and final passages. Only the addition of a few more missions which will take place this autumn remain to do.
As a small conclusion to the project, here is a video I uploaded some time ago.

Today the issues with the new patch were temporarily fixed. So people can play WW2C once again.
The reason why development of the mod has never been fast is due to my main project "Gates of Hell" that was in development since 2014.
