Are these items too futuristic for TF2 time line?
It might be, but i think there is hope for these to be in tf2 cause there something similar to these, for example: Cow Mangler and the Pomsion

The Cow Mangler, Pomson, Phlogistinator, Righteous Bison, every single Deus Ex themed item, a handful of Halloween items, and arguably every aspect of MvM are all too futuristic for TF2. So chances are that's not going to hurt the likelihood of this getting in.

This is fine because there are loads of space items well sciency ones.

Since Team Fortress 2 takes place around 1968, I think, due to the Phlog, Pomson, etc., this might actually be nice for the sniper.

this is actualy one of the best item sets i have seen in my life i have got to admit it is perfect for the sniper while giving him a new vibe i absolutely love it

what i think is, since this is sorta a ray gun, if this isnt gonna be a weapon, it would make an awsome reskin or promo item for the machina, plus these item sure look really retro!

No, I really like the Galactic Headhunter Set, and, if the Alien Update DOES exist, it should be part of it. The Pomson and Cow Wrangler did look a little out of place, but if they make more maps like Asteroids, maybe they won't stick out so much. Oh, and, the Galactic Headhunter Set DOES look like the kind of set that would cost £100+.

1970's. Team fortress classic was either WWII or cold war era.
