FOG FIX. MANUAL STEPS REQUIRED
Sadly enough, the fix doesn't seem to work through the workshop. So you need to move some files around.

From the M4-78EP workshop folder move the shaders_override folder, opengl32.dll and shader_ident.txt to the installation folder of the base game. This should fix the fog on Dxun and M4-78.

If you do run into issues, simply delete the files. Let us know here if it works for you, any potential issues, or questions... and enjoy M4-78EP the way it was meant to look.

Many thanks to HappyFunTimes for the fix!

What is the path to "the M4-78EP workshop folder"?

Thank you.

The question now how to make this fog fix work alongside reshade because it also uses opengl32.dll (can it be fixed with reshade directly? or maybe renaming the file?)

it says my folder is empty?
Hassat Hunter  [developer] 11 Feb, 2018 @ 2:24am
Then you don't have M4-78EP installed.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\1402798020 was where mine was located, is that a problem?

Nah, I assume that's the location of the TSLRCM+M4-78EP combo.

So is this step not required if you use the combo?
Hassat Hunter  [developer] 2 May, 2019 @ 2:42pm
No, still required.
