Starting the Quest
I'm having some difficulty with this one. Korriban is my second-to-last planet to visit in the story (Order: Nar Shaddaa -> Dantooine -> Dxun -> Korriban -> Onderon). Upon visiting Korriban, everything progressed as the normal game does. I encountered the spot where Vash's corpse usually is, though this time it was replaced by a bag, as I suspect is part of what this mod does. However, the dialogue of my party members was the exact same as it would be without the mod, stating that Vash's corpse is there. I'm under the assumption that this is just part of the mod because of a lack of audio files stating what was actually there for me.

Within this bag, I got Vash's datapad stating:
"I found the Sith that I came to Korriban looking for. Their leader, Darth Sion, is a perversion of the dark side such as I have not seen before. He seems to be a volatile brute, and should therefore be easy to coerce.

Before I left I managed to create a system account under my name on the console in the room here. That will allow me to open the door back to the Valley...[log interrupted]"

After being run out of the Academy shortly after by Darth Sion, I looked up what to do next shortly after finishing the Cave and Hidden Tomb section. I had spoken with T3 to get the datapad "fixed" according to sources, but no such dialogue option exists when speaking to T3. Nothing is on the starmap, either. Furthermore, the game also doesn't let me progress with going to Onderon, making me absolutely stuck in the game without being able to do a single thing.

Is there any support on what can be done to fix this issue? I absolutely cannot progress in the game or visit M4-78 because of this issue.

I think I plugged the data pad into the terminal close to the cage. After that it told me to have T3 take a look at it. However I can't move forward with my game once at M4-78, so I can't give much more advice.

I don't seem to have the option to connect it to the nearby Security Terminal... the only option I have is to enter "Lonna Vash" as the user and then open the door to the Valley.

Same with me... I have the mod but it didnt give any datapad or quest.. and T3 has no dialoge option.. not sure why the mod just doesnt want to work

I had the option to connect the datapad the first time, but it didn't do anything. I reloaded, and the second time I went through there, I didn't get the option to connect the datapad at all. :/

So, I left the area, fought Sion, and then came here to see a solution... Still got that save, in case I have to reload.
Do I? Can I come back later, or am I locked away from it now?

Edit: My only mods are this one, and the Restoration mod.

Sounds like a mod conflict.

Since you definitely shouldn't get the "vash is dead" lines... nor should you be able to open the door as Lonna Vash without getting an additional cutscene.

Are you using the mods from the workshop? Othre mods?

(You can only visit the Academy ONCE)

Well, just tried it myself with just TSRLCM and M4-78EP and it definitely isn't acting the way it should... we'll look into it.

Hey, there's been a new development, for me at least. I kind of just forgot the whole issue of the machine planet, and continued to play normally.

Again, I never had a journal entry or anything pop up, or connect it to the console in Academy, but a speech option opened up with T3 on the Ebon Hawk about the datapad, anyway, and he gave me the coordinates to the planet. Haven't gone there yet, but I figured I'd say something before I forgot. :)

I had the same thing as ObanMark. Upon obtaining the datapad, my journal entry updated and said ask T3. It was his first dialog option once I got back to the Ebon Hawk.

I didn't talk to T3 until two planets later. And then he just had the lines I needed. Do with that what you will.

I managed to play through the machine planet all the way up until the last moment when you find the Jedi Master, and can't progress farther. There's a force field that you can't interact with, you're locked in a room, and all the terminals can't be interacted with. ):

Yes, you can interact with the terminal.

Apparently not with a controller though, which wasn't a problem till... well... now :/

I've been going around the galaxy doing odds-and-ends, talking to T3 every chance I get to no avail, unfortunately. The game's presently acting as if Vash is both dead and not dead.

In my game I have the mod on and master vash has escaped korriban, but the hologram recording of her that shows up after you repair the console in the torture chamber doesn't play. I've tried reloading it several times. Do I need the recording to play in order to go to M4-78???

Message update: When I found that the cage was open on Korriban with Master Vash gone I picked up the datapad and DID NOT get the location of M4-78 added to "LOST JEDI" quest in the Journal!!!!!! This is probably why no one is able to see M4-78 on the galaxy map. I know this because I saw a different description in the "LOST JEDI" quest in a youtube video linked below where Vash's body was invisible, persumed dead, but STILL gave the location of the planet to LOST JEDI Quest after the player picked up the datapad: minute 0:05:43 on video; link: youtube.com/watch?list=PLhVQb8kUf-Vj7h-wLiLU_BVdW1XjJmzuz&v=aziE5s7DyGE Seems like this mods use to work in this way where the boby would only be invisible yet Vash would still be alive on M4-78. Hope this helps this mod get fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!
