Anyways Awesome mod !!
yup, subscribed and then transfer those files to the server's directory. then edit the command line to include the modID
Is the new mod for dino bosses you're writing going:
A) Be compatible with the existing tames people have?
B) will it make use of any new "Additional X" stuff I saw added recently to avoid remapping of existing things? I'm not sure if this applies to spawn points yet, I've been poking around the dev kit a little myself (man we need documentation for that thing lol). But it would be nice to be able to update core and get new spawns zero-minute without waiting on a bARK update if I understand it right (my players wake me up at 3am for patching and server outages!).
And by the way, players are on the edge of their seats to ride the new large dinos, more texture variations, can't have enough. People love their unique color combinations.
I will appreciate the reduction of spawns in the next update as well, as the dinos are serious lootbags right now, they should be a bit rarer I think (most players can fly within a few hours of starting on the beach, it's easy to find and hunt them right now with their colors, rare is good!). The scorpions are the only serious danger with their awesome torpor stings, people think twice about taking them on. The odd rex king scares people, but for the most part all the other bosses are fairly easy to deal with. Can we give them a health buff? more armor? make the fights last a little longer, maybe that'll make them a bit more of a threat if they don't get spam chomped by a spino or rex in a few hits, without just turning them into one-shotters themselves.
Awesome work, can't wait for the next update. Any hint on when we'll see it?
