How about a Gate that is open on the top? Like a garden fence gate. So there are no problems with the long necks of the brontos.

Also like the idea of a wide gate

I am hoping for a 1 tile wide dore. Wanted to make seperate stalls for my parasuar,raptor and sabertouth mounts. Kept a tile open but would love to put a gate there.
Stacking 2 of them ontop of eachother would make it even better.

or a obsidean gate that slide open

You could make a gate that has Build in spikes perhaps, it may get annoying but it would erase the reason of accidently ♥♥♥♥♥♥ a spike too close to your gate and making it harder to get in also you could add a huge sea gate that has the bottom joined to the left and right with the top of course instead of having just one support at the top so that the gate floats and you can quickly make room for plesiosaurs to fit or megalodons? Gate upgrades so you can upgrade your gates!
like wooden gate upgrades to reinforced wooden gate stone upgrades to cement and metal upgrades to steel gate and behemoth should upgrade to Mega gate that.
that would be more realistic and more fun!

to add on to my comment you get upgrades by leveling up each upgrade is idk 8 levels maby
would be better on a pvp server so you can get your dinos safer but anyway also Big walls to go with the gate as i said Upgrades i would love to see some gate upgrades and some big walls so yeah think about it.

to add on again put is some small gates two for the smaller dinos and a bird gate for the flying dinos so you dont have to make other gates and Upgrades please.

Very nice ideas , i will work on a smaller version around 3x3 for Birds and Fishes !
After that i try the 1x2 Gate and the draw Bridge Gate ... thouse ideas should be easy to made... i hope ;D

You can do a gate like the medieval castles' ones, with a bridge!!!

so a draw bridge
