If you have a save from before you actually enter the polar base, even if you're on the surface of it after being shot down, loading that save after unsubscribing should solve the problem. As far as I know, subscribing after leaving the polar base should be fine.

I had this problem myself, but luckily had an autosave on the surface of the mesa. After unsubscribing and entering, all the handmaidens were back to normal, and I was able to continue normally.

Maelstronnars solution is currently working and should continue to do so :)

Maelstronnar is right, I loaded the autosave of right after the crash on top of the mesa and unsubscribed and everything was fine, but this mod conflicts with the restoration mod often, about 1/3 of cutscenes caused me to crash until I uninstalled for good, great mod, needs some work to be compatible with the most popular mod out there. Also needs to fix the issue with the master tougness feat given by Darth Nihilus' robes, you die every time theres a scene change lol same as k1 revan weapons mod with master tougness feat

I reloaded a previous save after unscribing and it didn't work how do you completely uninstall the mod and do I have to get rid of the armors that I have bought through the mod

Same issue, I'm loading a save from before the mesa top but the system freezes because I had on armor during the load

Unsubscribe right before you enter the Academy and resubscribe after you leave. I've done this multiple playthroughs and had no issues with the armors/merchant.
