Bug - the dancing musketeer.
Okay so...in open field battles this isn't as bad but in a siege this is down right game breaking.

i'm trying to approach a city. and no matter what i do to try an get my units to move up when they need to they just dance around , even if i tell them to hold fire until ready which usually is what gets them to move in an open field because apparently listening doesn't over rule dancing around.

which if my soldiers won't move up i'm not sure how i'm supposed to take a city since the enemy troops are over a small ridge. and moving up not only takes for ever but is almost undoable because one division dances around an the other just wont do as its told.

reguardless of their fire mode it just becomes an absurdly futile attempt .

and i don't have enough bullets to kill 110 enemy soldiers on my own , so i'm not sure exactly what use my 54 men are when they do nothin but dance.

end semi-rant/bug report.

Just started the mod myself. I've been having success with telling them to "Present Arms" then ording the formation or to follow me around obstacles, and commanding fire once they are where I'd like them.

The alternative is ... well, you said you don't have enough ammo ... I needed a horse once and this stupid ally hussar was in my way. My shot may have just drifted off the enemy to somewhere between his ears. Bad luck that, but I got another horse! What I'm saying is, your soldiers have plenty of ammuntion you can pick up. :SlyNinja:

Edit: If you're a roleplayer, it's fine if you're Russian. Heh.

Maybe try F4 F1 (melee only) so they don’t keep on aiming and stuff
