Infantry won't obey commands in combat
Hi so when I enter a battle I can order my troops around and they obey fine (including infantry/muskets). However when my infantry and muskets start firing they won't obey orders to move to another location they just stay at their current location and fire. Cav do fine but the infantry and muskets just stay where they are. (Yes I am pushing the correct buttons and their names come up to give them commands) Any ideas about why this is?

Ok so I will answer my own question. If found out if you want your infantry to attack with melee you need to put them on "fire on my command" they then load and if you tell them to attack they will go and run and attack.

You can also use f4 and tell them to only use melee weapons, then charge
