Ideas!
Just some ideas that are one hundred percent plausible and would make this mod allot better. I'm not going to say stuff like more maps and music and stuff because I'm sure Dom is already working on this things and its a given. Take any Warband mod, add more scenes to it and boom, it becomes a better mod. So I've opted to leave the obvious stuff out.

1.) AI uses formation and volley.
Now, I'm not sure about you guys but when I have a massive 400 v 400 battle I like to set my line infantry in ranks and fire a few volleys in unison. Now from my experience volley fire is much less accurate then ordering your men to fire at will. This is because if a soldier is not quite aimed at an enemy solider and you order the fire command. Wherever his gun was pointed at last wether it was at the enemy or near it he will be forced to fire. This was the case in real life as well. But it would be awesome if before the men would charge at eachother you would have a straight up line battle.

2.) New Factions
Now I'm sure new factions are on the way and I can't wait. Looking at the map in game I can tell the factions Spain and Portgual will be added as a given. This is because the map is already made to encompass them. New Factions would really spice the game up and I look foward to what Dom has in store.

3.) Cannon Tweaks
Cannons were a huge part in battles during the napoleonic wars and what made the French so powerful was their ability to use artillery to its absoulte deadliest potential. Unfortunately cannons in L'aigle don't seemed finished. Now I understand this game is still in its early stages so It's competely understandable but it would be nice to see them tweaked in the not to distant future. Firstly I notice then when I send in my cavarly to mop up any running men my cannons would sometimes fire on my own men, killing them. Also currently there is only one type of cannon in game (six pounders) and I'll like to see heavier cannons and the ability to deploy more then just two at the start of a battle. Also some factions such as the French have Artillery Officers who fire the cannons while others don't. It'd be cool to see all factions get a unique artillery officer.

4.) Sieges
Without a doubt one of the most exciting things to do in this game but a few tweaks would make them allot better. I wanna see the defending army be allot smarter in Sieges. I'm sure most of you are famliar with the Siege layout so I wont explain it. The Siege should be broken up into parts like it was in real life. Cannons should be fully useable for both attackers and defenders. Defenders should hunker down in that little ditch before entering the city and mow down appraoching enemies. Then once they get to close they should fall back into the town. I wanna see men use the walls as cover and not just mindlessly reload in the open. Maybe even a building that men could run into and fire from the windows. Wow that'd be awesome. When defending a castle I tell my men to hold the little ditch and form two ranks. The first rank tends to kneel which makes them practically invincible. It becomes very hard for the AI troops to hit them because all they can see are their tiny heads from a far. And the AI can't resist the opportunity to return fire so they just stand their in the open making them very easy targerts for elite marksman, I once successfully defended a town with around 350 men (With around 150 Choosen Rilfe Men) vs a french army numbering around 1,350 on 72% difficulty while also using a size changer mod placing well over a thousand men total at any given time.I'll tell you what ordering my men to hold that ditch like it was their newborn child was the most fun I've ever had on any M&B Mod or M&B itself and I've played allot of mods. I wanna see the AI do simliar stuff.

5.) Formations
Lets first talk about the formations in the game first. I find ranks work well with line infantry and look cool. But the square doesnt work. Your men dont' form a square they just form 5 to 6 men rows depending on how much you have. It would be really nice to see it fixed in the next update. Now, for light Infantry. Light Infantry tended to be more accurate then your standard line men just how it was in real life but forming ranks allows the AI to mow them down. Light Infantry don't do well in line battles, their more accurate rifles just take to long to reload. Thier should be a skirmish formation which allows you men to fan out and some to randomly kneel. Maybe even add a prone animiation, wouldn't that be cool. This will make muh them harder to hit, allowing them to really utilize thier more accurate rifles. A wedge for Cavarly would also be cool.

6.) Musicians
Now I believe this already coming and using the next upadate we will be able to recruit them in Millitary depots. Now how I play the game is, First group is named "Flags" second is named "Line Men" I order my flags which is a standard flag bearer and one of my companions dressed a line officer with a pistol for whatever infantry it is then my line men right behind them. It looks really cool. Can't wait to add a drummer in that flags group or piper.

7.) New Troops
Just add more unit troops for various factions would be cool. Like the French Old Guard for the French or the Polish Guards.

Really hope to see some of this stuff in the game! Best mod for this game! Tons of fun. Can't wait for the next update Dom. Keep up the good work we're all right behind you.

Well actually, volley fire in those days was more accurate since soldiers weren't really taught to aim too precisely. They were just taught to aim in the general direction and fire on the command.
Indeed it sounds rather bizarre but that's the way things were done. The only unit that were given extensive training in aim were Light Skirmishers and Riflemen.
