Stats I could see myself if I would introduce that weapon:
First option:
Pros:
+10% speed when holding weapon and you see enemy
(doesn't include disquised or invisible spies)
Mini-Critical hits on wounded players
Cons:
-20% speed when holding weapon and you don't see enemy
-20% swap speed into and from this weapon
-33% damage
No random critical hits
Second option:
Cons:
-100% damage on constructions
-50 points of health
No random critical hits
ALT: Right click to slice throgh air, creating fast purple projectile wich on hit teleports you into choosen location.
After using ability you are stuned for as much, as long took projectile to travel to point (up to 2 seconds)
After using ability you must get headshot or 3 kills to refresh ability.
Projectile deals damage equal to this weapon to enemy players and penetrates them if that projectile hits them.
Projectile will stop on enemy constructions and will not penetrate them.
First option might be easier to program, but second option opens completly new playstyle potencial for Snipers. Imagine sneaky sniper playing on King of the hill gamemode, who teleports behind enemy lines into really hard to acces area just to get some kills. Before they find out, they lose one (maybe more if sniper is skilled) friend to headshot.
Well... thats why I propose -50 points of health as extra stat - to make those snipers easier to kill once you find them.
While that would make it too risky on maps with easy acces to most areas (you won't spawn camp really with just 75 points of health so enemy balcony on 2Fort isn't ideal), on maps with hard accesible or well protected areas teleportation would be amazing for sniper. This class after all is long range class, so getting to spot no one can go into (or take long time to get to) would be interesting.
