Please make a way to destroy the "Special Title" it generates when becoming an adventurer. I was adventuring and decided to conquer a nearby county, but it ended up making me permanent duke of "Shah Kasar's Band". I would've happily renamed it and said meh if it werent for the fact that the coat of arms was a rebel flag. Please fix this, this mod is really awesome.

ok, it should be destroyed sometime after you take a landed title that's higher than a baron.

Rather than giving the title to your chancellor, it would make a lot more sense if you could just select a kinsman who becomes the adventurer which you then switch to.

Like create an adventurering brother then playing as them? Can't code character switches.

Just a thought, but what if the "landless" adventurer actually had a home holding, like House Orsini and such like in republics? The holding exists in your former capital as a sort of base with it's own improvements and upgrades. Would that get around the landless hardcoding issues?

It would, but you wouldn't be landless anymore and thus susceptible to having the base quickly sieged and ending wars.

He means like a Republic palace, so it would be unseigable

Far as I'm aware, Palaces are coded to Merchant Republics so can't do that.

A palace idea would be really cool, but if they're hard coded that wouldnt work unfortunately. Do you think it might work if there was a special gov't for adventurer bands?

No, palaces are coded to merchant republics only.

Very cool mod! Some observations from me messing around with it:

Not a situation you'd typically encounter, but if you're a merchant republic patrician with no holdings besides your manor, the game treats you as an adventurer with options to invite to your band, raise adventure troops, etc. The option to raise adventure fleets for some reason also still appears when you're a regular landed ruler (alongside the option to become an adventurer).

Also played around a bit with console commands and managed to make myself a vassal of the HRE while roaming as an adventurer (and the game didn't freak out). Which I think would make for some interesting gameplay mechanics, where you could sign up to be the equivalent of the varangian guard for other rulers or something with your own income and events, if you wanted to expand on that. While doing this I also noticed that I was getting donations from province owners while leading my liege's armies as marshal lol.

The band's titular title also lets you take control of a barony without either losing it and becoming a traditional landed ruler, or getting a game over. However I can no longer raise adventure troops or invite to band once I gain a barony, as it seems to consider me landed.

How about making force-recruiting process look like in m&b instead of just paying 500 gold? Also I think there should be (at least minimal) maintenance cost for units.

It would be cool to be able to go around a recruit people to your cause as stated above. Also, would it be possible to be both an adventurer and a mercenary, where you dont only go to war for yourself but also have the ability to be hired like other mercenary bands?
