like is it just dishes using the Baking Tray
or Roasting tin etc
hmmm, i dont remember seeing a duplication (and i ran around like crazy trying to make as much Mash Potato flour, and dried fruit lol before the food went bad :)
(i did often get the vanishing if picked up while red hot though..
have you tried letting the oven and item go cold, and then pick up to inventory
i guess if a bug it can hopefully be fixed in an upcoming ppatch, but if you try the above, maybe that can help.
also, what happens if you pick up directly, it vanishes, and then when it appears in the oven, what if you try cooking it again, and then drag to floor (or drag to inventory) does the duplicated item still dupe or does something else happen?
(there is also a necroforge mod which you might be able to use to zap any dupes if they appear - that way you wont be cheating.. .just eating
Nope. Didn't think of that. I do get the vanishing part as well but as I did say insted of picking it on you, you could just drag it from the oven to the ground and then pick it up and it is always ok. So once I learned that the vanishing bug was never a big deal for me. I will try to let it cool next time I play.
Yes if I pick up directly it vanishes. After that as I did say it will return to the oven after some time. Not sure is it only time related or distance or some combination of the two. It is in uncooked form once it respawns and I can cook it again and depends if I pick it up after cooking it vanishes if I drag it to the ground it is ok.
Not sure what do you mean by zap? :) Well I don't really cheat. I feed that food to the dead zombies. With that bug sometimes I go hunting for zombies so I have a place to put that food.
I did also notice one more things. I did once get dry fruit to duplicate like that over and over until I made corn bread and than it started to duplicate insted of dry friut. But with dry frieut I stated with apple slices and later even added grapes to get raisins. They did combine in respawn. The first didn't go away like with corn bread only added the next item. And over did have like 23/19 weight in it each time it they respawned.
I do hope you are able to understand me. I do apologize for my english it is not my native language :)
zap just means to delete or remove or destroy an item
