In my current game after one library and all the books in it having their covers removed I still havent found the master carpentry either. However I am sure I will eventually find it previous games I have had certain books take scouring all the book stores in Muldraugh and West Point before I found one. The thing about random chance is even if your odds are 1 in 20 you could still go 200 before seeing it once.
