How to de-charge a Solar Park?

I am about to make the "Upgrade to Solar Generator" recipe. But the recipe requires "Solar Park". However the Solar Park I already built is now "charged" and named "Charged solar Park" so the recipe does not accept it as an ingredient.
How can I decharge the solar park so I can use it in the recipe?

You can drain and recharge a bunch of batteries until it is no longer charged. Not sure how long it takes to recharge but I know it can be done before it does.
