Mount & Blade: Warband

Nova Aetas
Kingdom troops
I have my own faction in the mod and I was wondering how to set my factions culture, I know I can change their equipment but that is quite expensive and it would be a pain to find decent gear for each class. Also the Actozoac towns don't have a build menu, is that intentional

I believe your factions culture is set by the title you choose at the beggining of starting your own kingdom

King - Swadian
Tsar - Vaegir
Khan - Khergits
Sultan - Sarranids
Prince - Rhodok
Antipope - Swadian
Sjah - Sarranids
Archduke - Rhodok
Nordic King - Nordic
Doge - Rhodok

Although I do believe you can change over to roman culture but I forget how

There is also an aditional title to add to this which is the title of Grandmaster (I just took my first fort from the aztecs and got independence) it appears to give swadian troops

They seem to be the easiest to fight but, as my previous statement goes, there towns don't have the building menu like the traditional ones do so you can't really get many troops without recruit farming

The castle I took was the isolated one on the island of Santiagon had like 100 papal/zendar pikemen in the colony on santiagon probably should have bulk trained/aquired more prior to taking it

I would guess it was intentional assuming mithridians and zendar have the proper building menu probably due to the fact that the aztecs are the weakest empire of all I mean they look like they are all wearing pyjamas/onesies haha xd the only ones you have to watch out for are the guys in black and the archers

I got that one to start with as well, Toluca is also a good first take. When I first saw them in the garbage armor I cringed

Toluca was going to be my next target before tochtepec got swarmed by a couple of vassals my plan is to slowly execute their lords and shore up tochtepec i have executed 3 lords that were all decent lords of 100-150 troops so far

Pretty sure you don't pick roman culture you just get the troops on top of your own
