Dont have money to hire a finance guy

I'm using version 4.0 right now and I've ran into a little issue. I'm slowly obtaining debt because I don't have anything in my treasury and the only pay option for a finance guy (chamberlain?) is through the treasury (which is empty). Does anyone know a way to pay into the treasury without a chamberlain/finance person?

ok, in this mod u have to own a city, den at da end of da week you'll gain something called the kings purse, so everyweek u will get gud amount of money in da treasury. or u can just go to the guildmaster and hire the commisinor, the enoconimal 1, not da constable

Indeed just wait a week before the treasury is being filled with coins.
