what version of the game you use ? did you start the DodoIsland Map or the DodoIsland_Foliage ?

same here, can play for a couple off minutes but than it crashes. running up to date version off ark. and start the dodoisland map

how do i get the map

Same goes for me; I downloaded the map yesterday and was able to launch it. Today the game will just crash after the map has finished loading.
My game is running on version 200.2.

Have the same problem, as it is about to enter the map it crashes to desktop.

any error messages you got on the crash ? can anyone tell me when it exactly is happening ?

The message I get is "Video driver failed/crashed" or something to that effect.

I validated, restarted etc and all is well with the vanilla map/game. I will try Dodo island again after lunch :)

i got it to work i just had to use the non foilage version, its a really cool map!

How do i make it work, Just tryed playing Ark and everytime i started DodoIsland it Crashed, Can someone tell me how to fix it?

Alright, just checked it again. Same problem, crashes to desktop as it is about to enter the world. There is no message, the only message I received was the one regarding the video drivers BUT I can join regular ARK just fine. The Video driver crash I think, is fixed, so I have no idea.

Perhaps I should unistall and reinstall again? Just don't want to lose my progress.

Any suggestions?

you could finde out where your saves are on local play , could you delete this map (its in the mods folder of your ark) and redownload it ?

used the map again last night, no problem at all this time.
the times it diddnt work i was also using the larger stack mod, might be the problem.
also i noticed that now there is only one Dodo map in the list and the name is differend

ohh and on a sidenote, i love the dodo airdrops :)

It's working again, uninstalled as suggested and lost my progress but no problem, will start again... Enjoy the map for a break from all the chaos on the vanilla one.
