FPS Benchmark

Any idea on how to optimize smokes?
I go from my usual 90fps~ (Holla holla, 8 year old pc) to a whooping 4-8 fps.
I'm running a GTX 360m, i7 Q740 @ 1.73Ghz and 6GB of ram.

My cpus are unparked, nvidia is running CSGO in high performance and windows is too.

Smokes in this benchmark map are really heavy, there isn't a special setting to 'optimize' smokes really.

It might be time to look into upgrading your machine :P

That does make sense. Because it only really seems to be an issue during the benchmark.
I played a game of comp, and spammed some smokes in a idle server and it never did hit me as hard.
I'd love to upgrade, but I'll be unable to for the foreseeable future sadly. (Family issues)

Regardless, your map has helped me tweak my settings and figure out what gives me those few extra frames.


On a side note. At the end of the boxes the camera seems to jump from one angle to the other. was that intended?

Good to hear that it helped squeezing some extra FPS out your system, and good luck with the family issues.

It should go up in the air and then change the angle slightly, it's been a while :golden:

Right before it starts that said part it seems to have an issue. It doesnt affect it badly in anyway though, so I dont think it'd matter if you fixed it. :p
