Paint Gun - realistic painting for survival + special creative features

Paint Gun skins not owned on server?
I own all of the DLC's apart from the deluxe it worked fine until today.

I was trying to paint some blocks and it started to say "Paint gun warning: failed to apply skin server side. skin not owned.

That log's so huge because of WM_SnowTohil =)
Do you remember if anyone joined you during that time?
Also, were you able to skin before it randomly stopped working? And was that regular painting or using replace-mode?

I'm really not sure why it would suddenly not allow you to skin anymore... so I've updated the mod with more debug logging, if/when it happens again please post the mod's log.

I was playing solo, but in an online mode in case my daughter wanted to jump in. I was painting fine, alt-tabbed, and when I tabbed back in, skins were classified as unowned. Again, I'm starting to think this may be more of a Steam desynch error, because after disabling the "Vanilla Paint Disabled" mod, it was giving me the same error in both the paint brush item *and* vanilla painting. Granted, I did not every try anything without having your paint mod active, but a Steam error that desynchs temporarily might be enough to confuse SE and not let you paint, period. Not even standard skins (battered/clean) would paint.

Thing is my mod does that ownership test thing at load/join and then those results persist until you exit that world.
The "Failed to apply skin server side, skin not owned." is from my own check against the results of that test which should not change, but they did for some reason and that's what I'm trying to figure out.
