BUGS AND BALANCING
Please post here if you spot any bugs or if you have suggestions on how to improve balancing or any other area of the mod.

Due to the size of this mod there are bound to be oversights. Please report any you find, also feel free to point out and dodgy design flaws. Anything genuine will be fixed as soon as possible.

Hi Sebidee, l just downloaded your full mod and i think its great! :D ... although i noticed some of the Odrysian units still haven't changed from the standalone mod.

Dii Swordsmen maybe could use better weapon damage (40?) and better melee defence (62?)
The Ody Royal Peltasts have 40 morale, this seems too low as other Royal Peltast units are more like 70.
A lot of your elite peltasts have a rating of 6 shots per minute, whereas the vannila elite units are more often 7 or 8 shots per minute... did you mean it to be like this?
And finally i feel like there isnt much difference between the Odrysian Heavy Cavalry and the Edonian Cavalry to justify EC being 50 gold more... and both units seem to have too low morale.

Thanks for the quick reply Sebidee! :) ... also forgot to mention that after some extensive testing the Thinyi Ambushers could also use a little buff like a +5 or +10 bonus against infantry. They offer the thracians a very interesting element to their playstyle and a little buff would make this strategy a bit more viable. :) .... Thanks for looking into it! I look forward to seeing your update in the future. :)

Hey Sebidee, so i loaded up cimmeria and built level 2 heavy millitary and couldnt recruit bosphoran pikeman so i looked at the level 3 building and it says thats where i get them yet on the recruitment guide it says Level 2 building. ( http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/695032539004278948/D65B4ADEF2679066444BC904D1423AE8F0B1337A/ ) also the periokoi cav for sparta are also bugged. i built the level 3 heavy building (got all 3 level 3 buildings - dacian heavy bowmen auxilary are amazing) and on periokoi cav it says "must learn art" but i have the required art for them, as your guide again said heavy barrack and wont let me build them. Ok so I've updated the mod for these changes:

Dii Swordsmen: Melee Attack +5 and Melee Defense +10, I have not upped their weapon damage. This is because their current weapon has high armour penetration which is a hidden stat.

Odryisian Royal Peltasts: Morale + 20.

Edonian Cavalry: Melee Attack +8, Health +5, Morale +10

Odryssian Heavy Cavalry: Very slightly nerfed.

Perioikoi Cavalry: Technology requirement removed

Bosphoran Pikemen: They were always intended to be recruited from the level 3 building. The recruitment guide is wrong so I'll fix that!

Arverni Warriors: Limited to Arverni only (not to other gallic factions).

Oppidum Warriors: Limited to Arverni only (not to other gallic factions).


Please don't be afraid to report any more bugs as I will continue updating as quickly as possible for the next few weeks.

There appears to be a garrison bug where any units that are replaced through technollogy have their garrison numbers halved.

That is, it goes from 2 Eastern Spearmen in a Seleucid garrison to 1 Hamspah Spearmen in that garrison upon researching the technollogy Hellenization. I've noticed this effect with the Lusitani as well, and I assume it impacts all garrison units that are upgraded through technology.

It still happens with no other mods enabled. I'm thinking it's the same bug that used to happen in vanilla until CA fixed it.

Just noticed 3 issues: Soghdian Warriors have no maces in their unit card, the weapon damage is unchanged and their support cost in a campaign is more than 250 gold. That can't be right, can it?

Two extra things: Sparabara only have 8 shots when historically they would have carried the same quiver/gorytos as other Persian archers, so shouldn't they have 15? The horse guards for Pontos are only available as a general and do not show up in their cavalry roster.

One more thing, on large unit size Verrix Spear have a size of 180 when it should be 120.

TriNova. Ok I'll look into it, I may have to add more garrison troops in which case it may take some time.

Byzantine. I will give the Sogdians their swords back. However the other two units are intentional, the Sparabara have less ammunition because they have higher numbers than other archer units, the lower ammunition count is meant to balance them out. The Verrix spearmen are supposed to have higher numbers as they represent the many vassals of the Arverni who often contributed to massive horde like armies, this is balanced out with their stats.

Hey Sebidee me again! ;) ... liking the changes you made so far. Here are some other things i noticed/was thinking about.

1) The Odrysian Late Thracian Peltasts have 7 ammo and only 6 shots per minute, where as the "Early" Thracian Peltasts have 7 ammo and 8 SPM. This seems a little odd as arguably the "upgrade" makes them a worse skirmishing unit as they throw their javelins slower. The Tylis Thracian Peltasts have 7 ammo and 7 SPM, and the Macedon Thracian Peltasts also have 7 ammo and 7 SPM for comparison.

2) Theres a similar thing with the Late Thracian Cavalry compared to the "Early" Thracian Cavalry.

3) Do you think the Thracian Peltasts could use more ammo as their faction/people were renound for using skirmishers in warfare? Light and Picked Peltasts for example have 10 ammo.

4) Did you think the Thinyi Ambushers did enough damage? (26) and didnt need a +5 (or +10) bonus against infantry like other club-weilding units?

5) For Tylis the Trimarcasia Cavalry seems weak and overpriced especially compared to Light Horse.

6) For the Icenii Woad Raiders seem overpriced.

7) I noticed there is no unit description in custom battles for Eygpt's Ptolemaic Prodromoi.

Ok I've sorted out the shots per minute. I fixed the Egyptian Prodromoi's tooltip and I've buffed the Thinyi and Woad Raiders. I haven't done the trimarcasia because they have extra men in their unit that should make up for their low stats.

I suppose this is the place to post this: I've noticed a typo in the Egyptian unit Macimoi Guard Pikemen. The description says "...has it's perk.", when it should be "its" (also I'm not sure if you meant to say "perks" or not).
