Wanted to stop by and drop an quick shout for a new server running the Valhalla map We've been tweaking performance and settings for about a week now and have it tuned to an enjoyable experience without being too ridiculous. Settings are 4x tame, 2x gather, pretty much 1x for everything else. PCs and tamed dinos enjoy a bit more gain for carrying capacity and other minor stats per level, because seriously, dinos should be able to carry a lot more than they currently can!

We are running two convenience mods, Auto Torch (543859212) and Extra ARK 2.0 (656525905). Both of these mods leave the primary gameplay intact and are just used to solve some of the more annoying things associated with ARK, namely lighting being a pain to maintain, and storage taking up a lot of floorspace. Extra ARK also features auto-closing doors and dino gates which is a huge timesaver when you are running around your base.

Another thing to note, is that we will be having regular server events and competitions for prizes and trophies. We will also be scheduling "PvP weekends" once or twice each month, where the server is backed up, PvP is enabled, and all hell breaks loose. At the end of the weekend the server is restored to previous settings and the archived save and everyone goes back to business as usual.

We are also working on some events and special competitions centered around the PvP arena and dungeons that are present in Valhalla. Did someone say Dino Pit Fighting? :)
