A better way to update a dedicated server
Hello,
I have a server for I and my friends and we use this awesome mod, but there are many updates and upload more than 3GB from my connection take 1-2h.
So, is there a way to get the files directly from a ftp server online ? Or any other solution to accelerate the process :)

Are you renting from a provider?

The provider we go through (craftandsurvive.com) supports Ark Server Manager.
This allows us to tell the server to download the mods we use vs us uploading them from our computer.

Now I wish there was a way to set up a dedicated server to always keep the mods up-to-date. That would be sweet.

I use Verygames, the only options we have is to put the id of each mod and upload files on the ftp.
I paid only 5€ for the first month (next it's 10€/m)

The cheaper the provider the less possibilities

So they don't support Ark Server Launcher at all? That would be horrible uploading some of these mods directly to the server. Server Launcher has the server pull the mods directly from Steam
