Loading time of the mod
Hello =)

I am currently playing on a Primitive Plus server and I really enjoy this mod. But there is one thing, hat takes out all the fun. Its the loading time.

Normally, when playing on The Center Map without mods, the loading time from "connect" till "ingame" is about 1 minute.
However, when I want to play with primitive plus, it takes up to 10 Minutes until the mod is loaded and I am ingame (it's not the "loading mods" thing. Its very slow when it comes to "Primal_DB_PrimitivePlus"-loading. This takes ages!)

Is someone else having this issue? Am I doing something wrong?

You must understand, its always a pain to wait 10 Minutes just to connect and load the moddata.

To compare a bit: I play on a Server that has the Annunaki Genesis mod (also, very cool mod!) and its a huge mod. Its like 2,5GB big. This mod, however, loads from "connect" to "ingame" within 3 Minutes. And its like 3x the size of Primitive Plus. Thus I am a bit confused.

Greetings :steamhappy:

It takes a relatively long time to load for me too, but definitely nowhere near 10 minutes, but then again, I don't have your other mod. Also, the load progress bar on 'Primal_DB_PrimitivePlus' goes back and forth quite a few times before finally going forward; and I have an amazing internet connection. Personally, I don't think it's a major issue though.

It's also very slow for me. I've watched the memory, once it gets to about 3-4GB it finishes the PrimitivePlus loading and goes to the normal Ark load screen. Wish the mod loaded a lot faster than it does.

I can top this ... Loadingtime 14 minutes. The PPO is the only one "MOD" on the Server. We are using TheCenter-Map.

I just timed it tonight after ARK had an update, it took 9:33. So right under 10 minutes. I don't remember it taking that long every time though, more like 1-2 minutes.
