The mod is still supported and being worked on. As for the official servers being dead, it is due to the players. Server 2 got turned into a pve which caused virtually all the players to leave that server. We tried to get Server 3 stable but two large spanish trbes decided that they did not like the idea of others building up. So they wipped the other large tribes and a few of the growing ones.

Server 1, as ive heard, has a tribe that wont let others build up. So the three official servers are relatively pointless to try and play on.

Indeed. I think there's a market for the type of server I'm trying to create. I wouldn't mind a strictly Primitive+ server however I'd like to add some more flavor to it, any info on mod stacking? I was using primitive plus unrestricted, however it seems that mod is no longer being supported.

yes, its seams to me also that this primitive mod is not supported at all. Thanks to that most of players from our server also decided to switch back to ARK. The main issues is that most of new dinos has new saddles but thanks to lack of support there only way is to use admin powers to help players. Me and couple of my friends love the primitive idea and would like to continue with that idea. But if there will not be any news next couple of months we going to switch back to old ARK too. We would like to help and support dev teams to continue with that good idea but seams we are too small community to hold that project on going. Sad sad ..

As far as I know the 2 tribes you are talking about only attacked people who were being aggressive. Which was stupid of the newer tribes considering they were not strong enough to take on the bigger tribes. Everyone else, big or small, hasn't been touched.

Mostly people left the server because they are too dumb to figure out how to set steam to not auto-update so they can still log in to the server which is not updated regularly.

It's one thing to complain that it is not updated regularly enough. It isn't and it should be updated more frequently. Both in patches and in mod updates (so much ♥♥♥♥ is still missing or just doesn’t work).

But when people complain that they can't log in when it has been well established how to set up steam and the game to not auto update at about like week 2 of the game's release some 11 months ago. And has been espoused at least once a week, every week, since then on how to do it on every form known to Ark. It is no ones fault but the users that they can’t log in to the servers right now.

Of the four tribes that I can remember being wiped (there may have been more but I am not sure exactly how many they hit), I was in the largest of those groups. There was no agression from us and I do not believe the others that were wiped did anything to antagonize the attack. We were actually working on an alliance of sorts and running server events, arena fights and planned battles. That way we could all enjoy the end game without everyone loosing everything they had. Everyone we talked to liked the idea (even those who wiped us) but I guess they changed their mind. Part of it could of been due to language barrier but I guess we will never know.

I'm on official 1 i dont know what youre talking about with a tribe that wont let people build up. First i would recommend not asking permission to become strong. Second we haven't had any problems with any tribes there. If you're experienced and wanna jump in our tribe is recruiting just send me a message on steam.

The biggest issue i have found with this is 90% of the community has no idea what primitive plus is or that it even exists. I go to my old servers just to say hi from time to time and people are blown away by the idea of primitive plus. The word is just not getting out.

I agree with you actually. I know ALOT of people who are intrested in a Primitive server. However, as it stands now, im abandoning my quest to incorperate primitive plus into my own server, i love it, but sinc eit doesent work well with other mods ill have to do a simple primitive server.
