How to get Glass and Steel ??

Sorry for posting this since it might been aswered a thousand times, but the search engine is terrible here... thanks.

Steel = Iron + carbon in forge (iron ore not ingots)
Glass = Crystals + Pearls in forge

Glas dont work in the Refining Forge. I dont can put perls and Crystal in the forge. Is it a bug or broken now?

No glass crafting is current bug :)
