Need help finding Carbon on the Center map.
Has anyone found the Carbon deposits on the Center?

Volcano island, right next to the two lava lakes. All obsidian stones contain carbon

I think you need to use the obsidian pickaxe on the obsidian rocks if I remember right

You don't have to use it. If you use it, you'll get almost carbon almost exclusively, but it also works with a metal pickaxe or an ankylo. Even better if you have a metal pickaxe with increased %damage
